What do you do after spending 30 years as a nurse?
Buy a motor home and take it easy? Volunteer for the Peace Corps or spend more time at Curves? Hell no—you start a radio show because you’re passionate about helping others and terrifically funny!

“Casey and Maggie”
The Nurses are in...are you?
Is your child running a fever but the doctor can’t schedule an appointment until 2010 because they’re too booked? How about that odd spot on your arm that looks like a strawberry and worries you so much all you can do is sleep during the day but never at night? How about those new “shingles”—we’re not talking about the ones on the roof. What’s a person to do
? Fear no more,
Nurse Talk™ is here!
They’re smart, funny and sometimes irreverent, but they always have good practical advice for what ails you. No more florescent-lit waiting rooms or old magazines with Britney’s photo on them—and no appointment necessary!
All joking aside—we know health is a very important issue and our fabulously successful and funny RN’s/co-hosts Casey Hobbs & Maggie McDermott love giving good advise—
but making people laugh...oh it is so rich.
It practically makes them shake! Sometimes they’re naughty and sometimes they’re nice but they’re
ALWAYS entertaining and informative. And Casey—well she never met a strong opinion that wasn’t hers. Maggie, nice middle aged Irish Catholic—loves to go to funerals because—unlike weddings—when she attends a funeral, she doesn’t have to take a gift and enjoys a free meal.
These 30 year vets have experienced it all—they’ve been on the front lines—in the trenches—treating coughs, colds, flu, constipation, diabetes, obesity—
and that’s just their own medical history! Nurse Talk™ delivers the goods with heart, humanity and laughter.

Pattie Lockard, Executive Producer
Pattie has been involved in theatre, music and creative producing since she was 4. That’s a stretch, but the dream was there at a very early age. Pattie is currently owner/producer of Harmax Productions located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Harmax produces Nurse Talk
™, and a variety of other projects including live theatre, music and television.
Casey Hobbs, RN, Host and Co-Creator
Casey found her passion for nursing in her early twenties and has been at it since then. She served her time in hospitals, home-care nursing and hospice. From the floors of the hospitals to managing start up and existing health care organizations, Casey has always maintained that “laughter is the best medicine”. Her dream for Nurse Talk
™ started while listening to two guys named Tom and Ray talk about cars on NPR.
Maggie McDermott, RN, Co-Host
Where did she get that thick accent? Her home country, Ireland, of course. Maggie came to America at the young age of twenty-four and worked her way up and into the nursing profession. After thirty-three years of nursing and telling jokes on the job—she was kidnapped by Casey and put into the co-host chair for Nurse Talk
™.
Carlotta Ahern, Hair and Make-Up
What can we say—after thirty years in cosmetology school she finally landed her first job at Nurse Talk
™. Her job is to ensure a professional, yet hip look for the hosts. After all “laughter is the best medicine” but beauty is nearly as important.
